Congratulations Ange!
We were delighted to present Ange Blott with the President's award for volunteering for over 30 years exceptional service.
The RDA Presidents Award is the most prestigious accolade within the Riding for the Disabled Association, honouring extraordinary volunteers who have shown exceptional dedication to RDA for 30 years or more. The award is presented annually by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. However, Ange wasn't able to attend the ceremony so we used Avon Centre Royalty in the form of Gill to do the presentation! Thank you Ange for all your hard work and commitment.
Christmas Around the World
It's nearly time for us to start planning our Christmas Around the World event. This will take place on Thursday 12th December in the indoor arena at Avon.
As in previous years, we would like to involve as many RDA participants and volunteers as we can in the performance. There are a few ridden opportunities, using our smaller ponies, but lots of non-ridden or stationary roles.
We will supply costumes and choir members are invited to wear a festive jumper.

We will confirm roles at the beginning of December and will give you your costume in advance of the event so that you can get changed at home.

Bring us you Cakes!
On November 1st we are hosting a a Countryside Challenge event for our participants and outside groups! As you know, we love any opportunity to have cake, so we are asking you to get your pinny on (or pop to the supermarket) and donate some cakes! Please remember that if you bake we need a list of ingredients so we can give allergen advice.

That's right! One extra alliteration! Our Christmas cards have arrived and will be on sale early next week! Watch this space!
